Going from my Secondary Research the target audience is similar to that of the two examples. Teens aged 14-19 who is middle classed and the majority of the audience would be female.
Its more appealing to my target audience as the protagonist is female so it would be easier for them to sympathies with her, also i would expect some if not most of the audience to be goth's/emo's as that is what the closest stereotype within the opening is goth/emo so this further allows them to sympathies with the protagonist more. Also the protagonist will share common interests with the intended audience.
